Overview

Field Notes Media run eleven shows about people who make things — luthiers, bakers, typesetters, bridge engineers. Each show had grown its own logo and none of them belonged together. We built the brand around a radio dial: one shared wordmark, and each show tuned to its own frequency, colour and sound ident.

On the website the dial is literal. Drag it and the page retunes — background colour, cover art and a short burst of the show’s theme cross-fade as you pass each station. Episodes load as waveforms you can scrub before pressing play, and transcripts sit alongside for anyone who would rather read. Average listening time rose by a third.
